As such, cracking of Macadamias Australia ‘nut in shell’ is done under SAI Global Food Safety Management System, which complies with the requirements of CAC CACCPVER:2003 – CODEX HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices). It is our business to ensure the safety of your food, and our pleasure to do so. Continued improvements are identified and implemented, making our product a preferred brand.

Packaging
In order to ensure our macadamia kernel is delivered in the best possible condition to our customers, we use nitrogen flushed, vacuumed sealed laminated foil bags, in a fibre board carton, with the dimensions of 360mm x 280mm x 200mm. Our products are packaged in either 10kg or 11.34kg cartons depending on the style of macadamia kernel (see kernel style guide below).
There are 88 cartons to a pallet, and approximately 1430 cartons palletised in a 20 foot shipping container. Macadamia kernel should be kept in a cool, dry area – preferably below 30 degrees Celsius. Our nuts have a shelf life of 18months, unopened. Contact us to request a small sample to review.
